-Journaling- I connect to myself my letting go. I don't have a to-do list. I
don't feel the pressure of productivity. I usually end up in my office,
at my computer, getting absorbed in lots of things at once.
Knitting patterns I might want to make. Yarn I might like
to buy. I'm likely to be watching a murder show of some kind for
a while, but I might switch over to some favorite music
and sing loudly without restraint or worry about how bad I
might sound. Maybe I'm making a recipe card, or hunting for
inspiration in the dinner department. The possibilities are endless,
and everything is open to me. I don't have to be listening for the
door. I don't have to worry about interruptions. I can just be me- not a wife,and not a mom. The only needs that matter are mine, and there is only one opinion I need to consider. This space is where I can truly inhale.
