We met on the first day of dental school at OHSU in August 1994. Both vegetarian and looking for a non-meat sandwich! Jana knew I was her kind of people when I would bring leftovers in cottage cheese or other repurposed containers like her family always did! We studied together and watched Friends, Seinfeld and Er on Thursday nights. We found some favorite restaurants like Hodas, Nicolas with the big bread and Pasta veloce We had some fun and stressful times in dental school and In February of our senior year Andy and I got married and jana was my matron of honor 8 months pregnant. In March Jana had Cassidi! She managed dental school and motherhood well and after we graduated she worked at Kaiser and Andy and I moved to utah for our residency. we moved home after a year and soon I was pregnant with Halle! We always went out to dinner friday nights and took trips to the beach and the farmers market. She moved to Arizona about 3 years later but we get together at least once a year in Portland, arizona, vegas, san diego or yosemite (once) and keep our friendship going! 29 years and counting! :)

      @MariSt I think it is awesome that you had that "challenge", lol. Pretty wonderful to have all of those photos and a relationship like that thats lasted through the years.
