Journaling:
I live in a town right next to Buenos Aires City, Argentina, but you wouldn't know where one ends or the other begins unless you knew that the General Paz highway, which connects with the PanAmerican highway, separates the two cities. Less than 10 minutes from my house, I could start a journey across the continent, following the Panamericana to Alaska.

I’ve lived here all my life, and I don’t think I will love somewhere else as much as I love my town. It is a residential town, with some very active commercial areas. It’s a quiet friendly neighborhood. There are many things to do: you can simply go for a walk or go to one of the parks or visit the river bank where there are artisan fairs, bike paths, sports areas, games for kids and a dog park. We have an ecological reserve; there is a country house with gardens, art and photography exhibits, and concerts during the summer, free and open for all. There are restaurants and cafés with a long and illustrious history in the town.
We have municipal theater and cinema and libraries. A big general hospital, a maternity hospital and another one specialized in respiratory medicine. All of them public and free.
Another place to visit is Tecnópolis, it’s a science, technology, industry and art mega exhibition, the largest in Latin America, which takes place from July to November of each year since 2011.
And the emblematic symbol of the town is a lookout tower, in the 18th century Florentine style. It was inaugurated in 1917 and is currently the head office of the town's Historical Research Institute.
