journaling: It was our last day and we had done most everything that we had set out to do in Magic Kingdom, except ride the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train. The line had been long every day, but five of us decided we wanted to do it anyway. Elizabeth wasn’t feeling well and Mark wasn’t up for another ride, so they went off to do their own thing while we got in line.
We hadn’t been in line that long when I began to talk with the large family behind us. It took a few minutes, but I finally realized that they were from Colorado Springs! Not only that, but they lived up the road from where we had and the older kids attended Pine Creek High School. We got to catch up on some of the changes that had happened in the years since we had moved to VA. Super nice family, and a great conversation to pass some of the time we stood in line away.
