Great vintage photos and story. I like how you give us a peak of the mountains behind the men in the two smaller triangles and your use of the transfers.

I'm wondering what their yearly trip to Florida in August was all about!! Fishing? Even as adults they seem like boys all lined up. Another great vintage photo well scrapped!

@cookingmylife I had three bachelor uncles, my mother's brothers, and along with "Uncle" Art, they would do Florida vacations every year. I doubt if they fished, they didn't fish while they were at home. I suspect sightseeing, golfing (they loved golf), swimming and just hanging out. The three uncles eventually bought property in Lehigh Acres and had a home built. They ended up being snowbirds, spending the cold weather months down there, the rest of the time in Chicago. And I have no clue as to why August was a Florida trip, I sure wouldn't be in Florida at that time of year. Maybe it had to do with coordinating time off from work, and since they drove, they didn't have to worry about snow on the roads.
