Awww... so sweet! I remember those days of new Easter outfits, and little girl purses, and patent leather shoes and nylon socks...little boys in their little suits...so adorable.

DH and his sister were just a year apart in age and they were always together. @cookingmylife I'll have to ask my mother-in-law if the jackets were handmade. Doubtful. By this time, she had a third child, just not quite a year old, and I don't know if she'd have the energy to do any sewing. LOL. John does remember these. He recalls that they all went out to visit the grandparents in Chicago. I love that little pleated skirt with the straps holding it up that his sister is wearing.
