We had been working together at Taco Bell for a few months. You had actually gone to a mutual activity with me, a haunted house in October. I would say we had become friends. I decided to ask you to Sadie Hawkins that year, I wasn’t sure you would accept the invite but to my surprise...and delight...you did! The dance was at the school, always a western theme and we went to the dance and enjoyed a fun evening together! That was the beginning of a lifetime together. Little did I know that we would remain together throughout high school. I also didn’t know at that time that we would head off to college away from each other and eventually reunite and get engaged. I did not know at that time that we would still be going strong after 33 years of marriage. I just knew that you were cute and fun and I wanted to get to know you better and have a date for Sadies! It worked! ILY
