This is for the April 2024 Journaling Challenge, which I thought was really clever: pick a national or international day and scrap about it. I found out that April 14th is National Look Up at the Sky Day, so here you go! My photo's colors have not been altered, it was just taken through my windshield. What has been altered was the lower 25% of the picture that was just a street scene! Photoshop prompt was "landscape of rolling hills and bare trees." Bye bye, Carl's Jr and power lines!
CREDITS: Tangie Baxter's Wonderland (skysetter elements--clouds and scatter--this is a very old Tangie offering, so doubt it's still around); Kim Jensen's Debossed Date Tags 3 (April and 14); Kim Jensen's Debossed Date Tags 2 (brad); Lynn Grieveson's Within (tag); Lynn Grieveson's Watch the Stars (phrase tag-altered); Kim Jensen's Carpe Diem (striped paper); Font-Indy 17
Gosh this is a pretty page! Everything flows together seamlessly, from the colors, to the choice of kit pieces, the journaling placement, just everything!
@ScrappyHappy82 Thank you for your kind words! I'm very happy with it! I tried some different papers for the bottom half and they just didn't work, but Tangie's clouds fit right in!
very cool effect with the clouds at the bottom of the page - makes such a difference when you can get rid of powerlines and signage in a photo and make it look how you wish the real scene looked!
