Journaling:
"It was our wedding day, and Mom had passed away 2 ½ years before. The month before she died, at Christmas my parents told me they sent away for a poster size print of my favorite photo. Mom and Me. I was 3 here and my brother was on the pony, and I wanted to know when it would be my turn.This photo always looked like my Mom was telling me advice that would last a lifetime. “All good things come to those that wait.” Basically telling me life’s lessons. I cried as I got the enlarged photo a week after she passed away. My friend’s Dad made a frame for me for it, and it has hung on my wall ever since. When we got married, since she was not with us, we had this photo taken, plus photos with a bench dedicated in her honor, so a small part of her was with us on our special day."

<my hair looks so dark here but that is the red highlights that come out in photos.. my hair was still golden blonde natural>
