Letting Go

Description
Inspired by the first Art Journaling Muse of August - the waning moon.
The muse gave me 2 inspirations
  • waning means reducing in size - so I thought of reducing object sizes moving across the page.
  • the moon gives out less light as it wanes, which led to an idea of an ombre across the page from light to dark.
As I was thinking about this and saw Soco's new kit I picked it up to create this art journaling piece. I'm currently training my eldest in preparation for independence.

Wonderful take on the muse challenge ... love the words and the little butterfly ... letting go ...not always easy ...

What an awesome idea for the waning prompt!! I love how the flowers and paper below go in the opposite way if dark to light in color! Thank you so much for playing along!
