(Dinphy's part) - Visiting our friends in Germany was the best vacation ever. The friendship and the way all family members connect is amazing. Especially if you know it is Kerri and me who became friends over the internet because of scrapbooking.
We made great trips, but my fondest memories are of the "normal" things. The reading the kids do together before bedtime, how they play together in the garden, the day we met her parents and were inside because of the rain. Still enjoying a delicious barbeque. And not to forget: Rummikub for the adults when the kids are in bed! And the best part? We go again this year!!!
(Kerri's part(kayjaydo)) - And when you see all we have planned for this year, you will be even more excited! Here your German Summer Bucket List:
1. Sunshine - yes we do have that here in summer, and I have put in an order for the summer of 2012!
2. Outdoor swimming pools - we have lots around here, I think we should try lots of them!
3. Crazy Golf and a hot chocolate, or maybe if really warm an ice-cream!
4. Got to go to a proper ice-cream parlour for one giant ice-cream!
And of course we will go to all your favourite places, restaurants (yes, the Chinese is still here!) and BBQ
Guess what I can't wait to see you all again!
