journaling:
Exactly one year ago, I broke my wrist! It was the first time I broke a bone, and it was a tough phase... Well, we were going to pick Zoe up from school to take her for the corona virus vaccine on the other side of the city. It was raining, and I went to take out the trash, and then to save time, instead of going in through the door and down the stairs, I went in through the downhill garage. Big mistake. Just before reaching the garage, I slipped of course and put my left hand in to stop the fall. Luckily I was holding a bag with my right hand, so I only broke my useless arm. Anyway, after many hours and a lot of money in the emergency room of a private hospital, I went to a local doctor, and he initially put me in a splint. A couple of days later, I went back and he put a normal plaster on me, then another thing that I don't remember what it's called, but the good thing was that it came off and I could wash my hand. This whole story cost quite a bit of money. Of course there is a silver lining. I learned, although I stuck to it for a while only, not to push myself, because the household chores are never ending; I learned to appreciate what I have, because in 2 months my arm was fixed, while others have permanent disabilities. And now I know: if it rains, I stay home.

I feel this in my bones, literally. I broke both the bones in my left wrist. I hope you got PT, this page is a very cool reminder and memory of a tough time. Good job getting through this.

OUCH! What a coincidence that this challenge was exactly one year after you broke your wrist! I'm so glad that you healed up in a couple of months and feel better. I loved the perspective this brought you in your journaling to appreciate two good working wrists! Gorgeous page to capture all your great journaling and photos! :)
