@Cherylndesigns @SharLamb My heart goes out to both of you, Cheryl and Sharron, I am so very sorry for your loss. I am glad you are able to talk to one another about it as death can be such a taboo subject, it's nice to know that you both feel able to discuss your lost ones here. xxx :happyhug:happyhug

Cheryl you created such a poignant and beautifully crafted layout, I am glad you decided to share it with us. :heartlub As you have said, art journaling can be very cathartic and I totally agree, it really does help to get those 'feelings' out sometime, and gives us a chance to reflect and ponder on what is going on inside us as well. xx

@wombat146 Thank you so much, Ona. I was really hesitant to post this, but I'm glad I did. I'm so thankful that I've discovered Art Journaling! It's probably the one thing that I have felt able to express my feelings through. I really love it!

Thanks Ona. As someone else mentioned, we don't post stuff like this to get sympathy, although we appreciate your response and willingness to join the conversation. We post it to help others, and to try to "educate" people in how to deal with those who have gone through tragedy. EVERYONE has something, so I know our number is legion. I, too, feel that art is a wonderful help. I noticed a conversation on the Journaling Pad about scrapping the hard things. Perhaps Cheryl and I should have joined that group? But what's done is done.

@SharLamb Well said, Shar. I always hesitate because I don't want sympathy. That's the last thing I want, as I'm sure you don't. Sometimes, it just comes pouring out, though. I know we should have joined that conversation, but I'm always so hesitant. Like Ona said, this subject is such a taboo subject - I think because others (who haven't been through it) don't know what to say. I'm so glad we had a chance to discuss this. We always find each other. :(

Oh ladies, I am thrilled that you both were spontaneous to start a conversion here! Art has bought you together and within it you both have found another soul to relate to, I am so happy that the challenge was able to initiate a conversation like this! :heartlub:heartlub:happyhug
