Made with
Firm Foundations #6: Crazy Love by Lynne-Marie
Journaling Reads:
Dear Mom (who used to be Momma),
You knew that when they said you’d miss this
when they were older, that they were right.
You see now that your house is clean and quiet,
the mess and the chaos and the noise meant
that your little ones were close enough for
a hug or a snuggle or just for you to marvel
at the miracle of them. Although you
frequently let yourself get caught up in
the monotony of daily living, there were times
when you let laughter and silliness guide you.
Instead of worrying about the schedule, you
turned the burners on the stove down low
and the music up loud and hosted an epic
dance party or game of musical chairs in the
middle of the kitchen. There were some days
when you answered every single “Mommy,”
even the seventy-fifth one, with
patience understanding and love.
And there were days when you
messed up and got frustrated
and lost your temper and then
asked for forgiveness and started
anew the next day. But every single
day, you tried your best - be proud of
yourself. I know they are proud of you.
