it's funny that you mentioned you weren't fast compared to others etc and scrapped a hummingbird - i'm sure that other birds look at the hummingbird thinking 'i wish...' (and actually i'm a tad jealous you get to see these at all, we dont have them in Australia). We all start somewhere and whether it's relatively slow or fast, we still get where we want to go (in this case a finished page and it looks wonderful!), as long as you are enjoying the journey and the creation process, that's the main thing to me. @bellbird, you don't have hummingbirds? I'm sorry, I wonder what animals/birds you have there that I don't here? Interesting thing to think about. We have a hummingbird feeder and get them every year. Amazing to sit and watch as they are so fast! BUT very aggressive and protective of their food! A male will sit there for hours and chase off any other hummingbirds, especially males, that come.
