January 31: Then + Now (the last day!!)

[that was then] I was nine years old when you were born and the last thing I wanted was someone to take away mom’s attention. But then you were so darn cute that I couldn’t completely hate you. Plus you idolized me which was so annoying and adorable all at the same time. Sadly I headed off to college before we ever had the chance to become really close.

[this is now] It wasn’t until you went to college that we started hanging out again and we’ve basically been inseparable ever since. It’s hard to describe how I feel about you- I still see you as a little girl but I also recognize that you’re now a woman. I love your quirkiness, your ease with life, your sense of humor. I’d do anything for you. A sister is a forever friend.
