Once upon a time there was a girl who loved herself. But then she forgot and did things that changed how she felt about herself. Then she married someone who wasn’t kind and lost herself even more. By the time she left, she had lost her voice, lost the essence of who she was. Through the years she continued to look for herself and find her voice, but along the way, she realized that she doesn’t have to be anyone else’s idea of awesome. She is awesome just because she is a daughter of God. She realized that she could love herself just the way she is, unapologetically. Because she is amazing and worthy of love, from herself, and others.
