Lovely page. I'm glad you were able to see your dream come true. Back in 1994, we hosted an exchange student who came from Landau Pfalz. We visited there and the surrounding areas in 1997. Sadly, a few years ago, we lost touch with the family.

The family is still there, but they stopped communicating. I fear that illness and age is preventing them from reaching out. The mother was an excellent communicator in English. The father only spoke German and French. And unfortunately, I only know English.
Landau is a beautiful town with lovely surroundings. We were there for three weeks and visited many areas that a typical tourist would never see.

Oh, that's a real shame. But unfortunately, there's nothing that can be done about it. At least you now have an idea of where I live and why I wanted to come back here.
