It’s January 2023 and I thought it might be fun to create a time capsule of the major events from 2022, to be opened in 5 years. I hope I’m still around for the opening, but, if not, whoever opens this I hope you enjoy a “blast from the past”:
Mask: COVID was still around but the mask mandates we’d endured for two years were lifted with “face coverings” now “recommended in public places”. Are we still dealing with this illness?
Gun: Mass shootings continue all over the country; Congress passed the first gun legislation in over three decades as Centers for Disease Control and Prevention report that guns are now the number one killer of

children in the United States. Did we get it right yet?
Corgi: Queen Elizabeth passed away in September seven months after the country celebrated her Platinum Jubilee. Her reign was the longest of any British monarch. Is Charles still King?
Flag: Russia invaded Ukraine – a predicted swift victory has become a drawn out military conflict. The USA has provided some military assistance which has caused debate and division among the populace. Where is the war now?
Apple: Apple stock hit 3 trillion; unbelievable! Apple TV+ inks deal to cover all Major League Soccer games. Has anyone “taken a bite out” of the Apple?
Goat: And the best event of the whole

      LOL. Clever ending. What WAS on page 3????!!!! This is so colorful with all of the elements (I especially love the Corgi-glad it was just a stuffed doggie!) And I like the wood background paper.
