journaling:
Social media has created a world full of strangers you would have never connected with. People on opposite sides can forge friendships like they live next door to each other. Connecting in forums, chat rooms, on blogs, and apps discussing a plethora of topics and hobbies from A to Z, much like our beloved digital scrapbooking hobby. I've connected and created bonds with many wonderful people over the years. When I started sharing my poetry on my blog I found and followed many wonderful poets, two who are now so very dear to my heart, Evie & Devin. Over the years we have grown close and now chat via text message weekly sharing life events, photos, and of course still poetry.
That's so cool that you became friends with other poets who you met through social media. Love how you set their photos off the background with the white paint too!
Beautiful page. I love the use of the gesso to provide a background for your photos and journaling. How wonderful that you have formed meaningful connections through your poetry.
This is awesome! I love the map background with all the gesso. I agree that you can form friendships via the online connection. I have @mywisecrafts as a IRL friend that started as an online friend - via digi scrapping. And I am not sure what my life would be like if I didn't have her in it!
