Wow! I didn't actually get to see the landscape until many years. I think that Johnston Ridge Observatory is the most impressive. That's not the one you refer to here, is it?
oh my.. what a gorgeous photo. I read your journaling and so glad you have the photo from before as a sweet remembrance. Beautiful page and that photo as it being large really makes the page with the smaller photo insert.
I remember seeing photos of the volcano when I studied, how amazing that you have an actual photo of it in near time after it happened. Love the addition of the blue paper and the blue elements. I also love the placement of the bird on top of the smaller photos. Great page, thank you for participating in the challenge!
That was something else, wasn't it? I remember being in Portland in May right before she erupted and seeing her plumes in the distance. We got ash all the way down in Roseburg. But do you know what? I have never been to the area in person. What is wrong with me? Heart-breaking photo, for sure! I love your angled blue paper on the edge with the cluster...a lovely way to give a little frame to the large photo.
