April 10, 2015 We took a day trip to the Poteet Strawberry Festival! It’s a festival that takes place in Poteet, Texas to celebrate the strawberry harvest. There are, of course, all sorts of strawberry treats as well as carnival rides and games, live music, and a rodeo. We ate delicious fried oreos, strawberry shortcakes, chocolate covered strawberries, and when the sun went down we took in the rodeo. The boys were enchanted by the roping competition and watched the whole thing.
