How does one look so pretty at the hospital? I feel your pain, I am so sorry that happened to you. I love how well you made this page work. It's a memory that's worth keeping. To quote Bruce Springsteen: "Someday we'll look back at this and it will seem funny" Not that it will actually be funny, but it will seem funny. I'm relieved it was nothing worse.
@trekmom haha thanks. Must've been that pre-wedding glow lol we have definitely been able to look back and laugh at this a few times - namely everytime one ofmy sports teams is playing in a big game and I feel sick because I'm stressed lol my husband always points back to this like "please don't put yourself into the hospital over this game" lol
Oh my gosh! That is awful! I love that you've documented this though and so glad you weren't in surgery two days before your wedding! Yikes! Yay for the gentle nurse too!
I love how you've managed to not only get a photo of you while you were in hospital but also remember that much detail of the traumatic time to be able to journal in so much detail
@littlekiwi I was grateful they allowed my now husband in the ER with me since we weren't yet related. He snapped the photo. He knows to document these things for the scrapbook, even when I'm in a ton of pain lol
