I have so many memories of my grandma wearing this inexpensive, plastic necklace that I am surprised that I do not have more pictures of her in it! I was able to find this one of us (Grandpa Eugene, Grandma Winnie in her favorite purple necklace, my cousin Aaron and me in pigtails) at our family reunion in 1983. When my grandma passed away in 2002, it was what I wanted of all of her jewelry that I am sure was worth more to others. This "cheap" necklace is priceless to me.

Meagan, this is wonderful! I love that of all the jewelry that you could have chosen, that you chose this of your sweet Grandma Winnie as you have so many memories with her wearing it. Great photos of the actual necklace and that precious photo of you in your pigtails and the other family members, showing Grandma Winnie wearing them. Such a sweet heirloom and treasure for sure. I would have chosen the same!!! I love the purple papers and elements to accent the photo of the necklace. Treasured heirloom for sure! Thank you for sharing and playing along with my MOC11 day 7 Heirloom challenge.
