Wow that is beautiful Sandy! I am thrilled to hear that your Dad cross stitched it.. how amazing. I did a lot of counted cross stitch and I know how long it takes to make a large painting of the last supper. Re cleaning, perhaps see if there is an embroidery store in the area or a restorer to see if there is some tapestry cleaning you can use. Otherwise I would leave as it, as it really is beautiful. what a treasure and most definitely an heirloom! I love the scrapping of your heirloom photo with the BYOC goodies.. the colors are perfect for it, and love the heirloom title. Well done!
