@garrynkim thank you Kim I enjoy making hubby his favorite pie (although he loves apple too and it has been a long time since I made it LOL) I used to make my own crust from scratch, but the last few years I have cheated with the already made pie crust. Since it is a double pie dish, I have to combine the 2 crusts and then roll out to fit in the pie plate I have wonderful memories when I use this.. thinking of Mom and my Grandmother etc... it is 2 fold.. making something that tastes great in addition to the fond memories it brings!
