Yay for modern technology. And yes they are very expensive. I've been wearing the same pair for years and they are so outdated now. But I can't afford an upgrade and insurance doesn't cover them like they do glasses which is really sad.

That's awesome, Karen! I say I got them for everyone else, as I didn't want them... but I knew I was annoying everyone. I still don't like them mostly, but I need them, haha! I got them through Costco, they were the cheapest and I felt they were very thorough in the testing. (I had multiple tests at different doctors so I felt comfortable using Costco.) We tried a few places and prices ranged from over $6k to $3k.... Costco was half! It took me a long time to get used to them! If you have any questions, let me know! I guess I should document my own path to the hearing aids. Great page, and I hope things go smoothly.
