JOURNALING:
For my 60th birthday in 2022, I knew I wanted to do a solo trip to the Coast,
but I still wanted it to be special. I gave the kids some choices of 1962 t-shirts
I should wear on October 25th and they picked this one. I love when they
participate in our group chat this way! I spent a couple of nights in Newport
at Agate Beach and went to the Oregon Coast Aquarium on my birthday after
a nice crab omelette at The Pig & Pancake. Ironic? Of course! The aquarium
wasn't as nice as I'd remembered. I think Covid took its toll. But I still saw
some amazing examples of God's creation, which I love to photograph. I later
spent time creating a list of 60 things I like about myself per Cam's request.
It was kind of a lonely day, and the only thing I could think of to post on Face-
book was, "Where all my Cuban Missile Crisis babies at?" I did spend some time in
the afternoon at Sam's live on Serato's Twitch channel where he judged some
flips of a sample Serato provided. They just launched a new product called
Serato Studio that is changing the way producers work with their new Stem
technology. It was fun to watch Sam do his thing, and he made sure I got a shout
out. All the participants chimed in with birthday greetings! Love that Serato created
an emoji of his face! It's nice to see him being appreciated for his talent.
