journaling:
The first time I heard the beep was while I sat a few minutes in my desk chair watching Robert and Rhiannon get ready to leave for the Richmond Comic Con. After they left and I had returned from walking with Heather I sat at my desk again to play with pictures and I heard the beep again. It seemed to come every minute or two. Just a very quiet few notes. After hearing it few times I turned off my computer to see if it that was what was making the beep. I heard it again, so I unplugged the computer completely. I heard the beep again so I turned off my phone completely. When the beep sounded again I started searching through my drawers wondering what else I had that could make a beep. Maybe the Kindle? But no, it’s not in my desk anymore. I sat down in my chair and just stared at my desk for a minute. Then I saw something on my keyboard tray that I hadn’t thought about in several days: my headphones. I don’t use them on a daily basis. And I didn’t know they could beep! I only just got them a month or two ago. I guessed that they were calling out to be recharged, and indeed, when I plugged them in, the beeping finally stopped. These are some really cool headphones! I was already very pleased with their excellent sound quality and comfort, all for only $40. Now I have another reason to love them. On another topic, the book just visible on the far left is A Man Called Ove by Fredrik Backman. It’s the book I’ve been most unsure I like of all the books I’ve read this year. I started it during Into The Woods rehearsal on Monday, read two chapters, and then put it down, thinking I don’t want to read about a grumpy man. But after posting about that at TLP, I was encouraged to keep reading, so I did so today while I was waiting for my computer to do some updates, and I got as far as Chapter 6 and found myself almost not wanting to put it down. Maybe I’ll finish reading it after all. But mostly this weekend I’ve been enjoying the TLP games.

Note: In case anyone now wants to know what great headphones they are . . . Jam Transit Wireless Headphones. :lalala
this looks like such a cool layout, i can't comment on the journaling bc my old eyes cannot read it ... but i love that you have so much on there and that you wrapped it around the photo! so so cool! the photo is really cool and the gradient is awesome. Beautiful work!

@jenn macabre Often I don't care to make my journaling big enough to read online because it's just for me, but here I was telling a funny story I'd like to share so I've pasted the journaling up there with the credits. Thanks for the comment!

lol! What a great story, Michele! Thank you for jumping in and trying out the technique challenge! I love the chevron to the solid paper, one of my faves! Some patterns overwhelm me, and this is my reflex technique!

i do that too Michele (keep journaling small and more private sometimes) but i had a feeling there was A) either a funny story associated with this one (so i didn't NOT want to address the story) or B) i was living under a rock (which is usually the reality) and hadn't heard about some new App/technology/tv show/etc called "mystery beep" - so I didn't want to sound dumb! lol. I can totally picture you trying to narrow down the source of that beep. thanks for the link on the headphones too! :)
