I totally understand what you wrote about the trees. For about a quarter of my life, I lived in San Antonio, TX - which really does not have a fall season. When the weather begins to cool, it is more like a second spring with everything turning green and re-blooming. So YES to changing leaves and fall colors - and enjoying them when you see them.
