In the photo my mom can be seen in the new home.
My family was bombed in World War II and lost everything.
They then lived with friends in Berlin and in 1953 they got a house with garden for rent.
they were so happy to have their own nice home again
@CharlotteM Thanks for telling the story. I so enjoyed knowing the story behind the picture. So glad they were able to get a place they loved after such a terrible loss. I'm guessing few photos survived but you are blessed to have this one.
