Continuing our Van Gogh Walk in Arles. This was the hospital that Vincent stayed at after the ear incident. So, this one did not exactly line up but then again, I did not envision this layout when I took the picture.

impressionist art doesn't always follow the physical proportions, so it doesn't surprise me that the painting doesn't line up. But it looks lovely in your beautiful photo and your photo is gorgeous.
Line up or not, it still looks wonderful and, if you hadn't mentioned it, I probably wouldn't have focused on that as the roofline matches up beautifully and the path seems to continue seamlessly. Such fun and so creative.
I think if only backed up a few steps and put the tree on the left in the photo, things may have lined up properly. What I am learning from comparing the paintings and photos is that Van Gogh paints in "50 mm focal length" - maybe more towards telephoto length. That and I need to level up my selfie taking skills
