What a fun memory! I remember seeing hand built BBQ's, your granddad's looks like a great one! I love the overlapped photos and that your granddad even had a chef's hat! Beautifully rendered page!

@Smwhite thank you Sue!! When i was making this page, i found this photo of my Dad taking the photo of his Dad and i was able to match up the two photos! The square one is a screen capture from an 8mm movie taken at the same time and then the top right sideview was taken at that same time! Thank you for your sweet comment!!

What a great set of pics! I don't remember us grilling or doing any kind of outdoor cooking when I was a kid. Love your use of the realistic elements...adds to the charm, for sure!

@scrapchyck Thank you so much Becky! My Dad grilled outside on the BBQ all year round, even in snow or storms! We had a normal BBQ Grill at home and when the Gas grills came out, he was thrilled!
