Oh wow Jasper is such a beautiful area (spent a couple of nights of our honeymoon there). I'm so glad lives were spared, yet lives were disrupted so heavily with so many structures affected. Breaks my heart to see that photo and read your journaling. I love the rustic wood border and your colors. Thank you so much for taking my challenge!

I feel the pain in your journaling! Our neighbors up the McKenzie River (in Oregon) had a terrible fire in 2020 that burned almost 174,000 acres. So many houses and businesses destroyed. Thank you for sharing about Jasper...your photo is so indicative of the power fire has. I love that it's the focus but also how you softened it with the pocket card and greenery.
