This is awesome Lisa and a wonderful companion page to your MOC day 29 highlights too.. I so need to declutter and I have been procrastinating for so long.. some of it is my parents things and I feel if I throw something out then I am throwing them out.. I know that is not true but that is my thoughts that I need to get over and just do I am going to start that beginning March 1.. I love your pages here for both your house and now your garage. Loved reading your journaling with the highlighted words. So happy that Pearl is now in her house where she is free from the elements and that you found and now having the working remote We have always parked our cars in the garage since we moved in, in 1999.. I know all the neighbors have thought we are strange for that as they don't LOL... Anyway well done on your purge, and now I am jealous that you accomplished what you set out to do.. wish me luck I love the way you have scrapped your pages.. fantastic job. Thank you for playing along with the Feb Random Challenge!
@cfile thank you -- but there is so much more to do. And yes, a lot of stuff was from our parents, and there is still more. At first, it was difficult to think about giving those things away, but our ultimate goal is to downsize and move closer to our daughter, so we keep that in mind as we tackle the accumulation. I hope my momentum carries and the contact from a neighbor works out for some of the bigger tools. Good luck, as my daughter encouraged me -- just start, pick a place and start -- give it 15 minutes, you might continue longer. the feeling of accomplishment is something like you get the first time you complete all 31 challenges of MOC!
