This is my totem, Whinney. I found her in the late 1990's after looking for quite awhile. It was a connection the minute I found her. I have her on my desk sometimes, but she always goes with me in a zipper compartment of whatever purse I carry. Her name is Whinney and she's named after Ayla's horse from The Earth's Children Books by Jean Auel.

What a cool totem!!! I have an ivory elephant that my father got while he was in Africa, I'm too scared to carry it around so I only use my dog tags now. I love that you have who made it and where the name comes from! The (heart?) saddle is neat and I like the lighting here.
@Serena@Serena I'd love to see your elephant. It's like my driver's license - I always have it with me. It's just "part of my purse". The little thing on top is a turquoise arrow head. There's a little piece of jute tied around her stomach. It's not a very good picture. Her tiny eyes are also turquoise.
Ohhh this is so cool!! And it totally reminds me that I should photograph and scrap my little jade foo dog! I so love this little thing of yours that means so much! Beautifully done!! Thanks so much for playing along!!
@IntenseMagic Thanks for the comments and your challenge! I've never scrapped Whinney before and I'm so glad you challenged me to do it. I've taken her picture, but never thought about scrapping her. If you scrap your jade foo dog, I'd love to see it!
