family is everything

for the august journaling challenge.

Journaling reads:
These are my people. my tribe. my heart and soul.
The people who make me feel like home no matter
where we are. the people i want to share my good
news with, or snuggle up with after a long day.
the people who tell the best stories, who have the
biggest dreams, and who i want to be with more
than any other people on the planet. i am so lucky
they are mine. if i’ve learned one thing so far in
this awesome life i’ve lived, it’s that things change
so quickly. I am truly trying to enjoy every day
and appreciate these years when we’re all together.
one day the kids will grow up, go off to college
and nothing will ever be the same again. until then,
i am loving every minute, even the ones that don’t
immediately seem lovable.
