Description
Challenge #1 "E is for Eagle". I used the Hope Bundle from Lynn-Marie.

The journaling reads as follows:
January 1, 2017:
Boy was I surprised when I took a look at Facebook this
evening. There, plastered all over the place, were comments
and videos of our local Bald Eagle couple, Harriet and M15.
I knew the cameras broadcast worldwide but this is the first
time the information has spread to the Facebook pages I visit
which are mostly about art and Digital Scrapbooking.
Last year we had quite a bit of drama at the nest as the smaller
of the two eaglets, E8, first had to be rescued from the nest
in February and then again in May, after his healing and
return (and just before he was getting ready to fledge) he
was attacked by an owl and disappeared for a week. He was
rescued a second time and taken to our local bird rehab center
where he was eventually nursed back to health and finally
released back into the wild in August of 2016.

In October of 2016, Harriet and M15 started a new family. One
of the eggs hatched over the New Year weekend and everyone
is now hoping the second egg will also hatch. Meanwhile a new
season of eagle watching is underway with a newly hatched
eaglet named E9 being cared for under the watchful eyes of the
parents and evidently millions of Facebook members too.

isn't it funny when the world takes notice of something you consider small and local?! great story, photos and use of the kit!

i love seeing this creatures in the wild. we have reports on our local nests as well - but not sure there are cameras. sounds like little EB had quite a series of events his first year of life - so happy to hear he was taken care of. awesome page!

Cool story! Those are great photos, and I love the colors you chose for this page.

How fabulous! Love all the bird elements you used! Everybody was sleeping when I peeked at the cam. :) Thanks for including the link! In our area, we don't see eggs being laid until February, let alone now!
