Journaling: In the 1990’s, every year from 1992 through 1999, John would GIFT me with a wooden thimble that he designed and made by hand. The techniques used on them would vary from year to year, some were carved, others wood burned, some had abalone inlays, a few combined multiple woods for the design. They were all made with love, GIFTs from the heart and they are some of my most treasured thimbles.
