Dogs a History

Today's LOAD221 prompt was to tell the story behind a name. I chose to tell the story of Westley, a blonde Cocker Spaniel who was the first of three pets named after characters from The Princess Bride, a family favorite film. Interestingly, I could find no photos of him so I used a stock photo of a dog with his eyes & tilt of head. Its possible that my ex-husband has the photos or perhaps Westley boy never made it onto film. He lived many years before digital cameras.
