      Fantastic storytelling and so glad your family has this beautiful clock from his great great uncle. Reading to hear that as a physician he would be paid in livestock etc for services rendered makes me smile. I am just glad every once in a while he got these kinds of tangible treasures! Your title work is PERFECT.. that gave me a giggle :) also that there were house calls which is so rare. The elements and papers chosen to scrap your page with are perfect too.. very vintage like..
