07:30 - Our first official day at Disney meant an early rise - despite not getting too much sleep on arrival night. But that didn’t matter too much because after all of the waiting and planning we were finally going to be “home” at the Magic Kingdom.
08:11 - We didn’t have long to wait before the bus for the Magic kingdom arrived. We’re coming for you Mickey!
08:44 - We arrived at the place where dreams come true. Walking down Main Street USA and seeing the Castle for the first time, is always a magical moment.
09:05 - There was only one thing I wanted for breakfast so we headed straight around to Sleepy Hollow for Nutella Waffle Sandwiches!
09.51 - Now we were stocked up on sugar it was time to ride some rides. First up, one of our all time favourites - Haunted Mansion. This was followed by Pirates of the Caribbean, Peter Pan’s Flight, The Carousel & Journey of the Little Mermaid.
11:02 - Then, characters! We met Buzz and Stitch in Tomorrowland. And later on in the day we stopped by to see Gaston.
13.15 - We decided to head to Columbia Harbor House for lunch. Sine we fancied something “lighter” on the stomach. It was a nice break and tasty too.
14:10 - We finished in perfect time to catch the Festival of Fantasy Parade.
15:00 -No visit to the Magic Kingdom would be complete without group pictures by the castle.
15:26 - They all rode some of the more intense rides while I took a little break. They rode Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, Space Mountain & Big Thunder Mountain. we also rode Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin and Monsters Inc Laugh Floor.
19:00 - We had to leave Magic Kingdom as there was a Halloween Party scheduled that night. Luckily our planned evening was just a short monorail trip away.
20:35 - We had a reservation for O’hana which we were all really looking forward to. Unfortunately it wasn’t quite as good as last time. We still did leave with full bellies though. After that we were pretty exhausted and decided just to head back to our resort - we didn’t even wait for the fireworks this time.
