I AM A DINOSAUR
I’ve been trying for HOURS to think of ANY “relationship” I have because of technology. I’ve looked at the definition of “social media” and came up with names like Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Linkedin, YouTube and I’m not “on” any of those sites. I do have two telephones, but the one I use most is a “home” phone. I DID have a “smart” phone for a short period of time. But, I guess it was smarter than I am, because I dumped the “sim” card into a small “flip phone” that I RARELY even have with me. My expensive “smart” phone is now my camera. I have a computer, but don’t “socialize” on it. I wouldn’t be able to go to anything that requires a ticket, because I have NO IDEA how that works nowadays. While I pay the money for Columbus Crew (and Crew2) season tickets, access to the venues is through something my sister has on her cell phone. I just spent the past week attending the US National Figure Skating Championships. Only because my sister was with me. While I paid for the tickets, she is the one that got us in to the arena. My health insurance has some type of on-line thing called “My Chart” (I think). I neither have nor want one. The ONLY thing I’ve been able to come up with took place in the LAST CENTURY. In 1996, when the aforementioned Columbus Crew was playing their games for the first few years of their existence on the “hallowed” ground of “The Shoe” (THE Ohio State University football stadium) I tried to participate in some kind of on-line “chat” with others going to the game. I found it stultifying. The MAIN topic of “conversation” was that one could not buy BEER at the game. People were so interested in drinking beer that they couldn’t contain their desires for the two hours of a soccer game. AARRGGHH!!! My participation ended quickly. Yes. I am a dinosaur. My computer cursor is even one.

      Oh, this is so cute. You know your limits when it comes to "socializing" via technology and you readily admit that you are a "dinosaur". I love that you've followed the challenge "brief" so cleverly.
