Oh no! You poor thing! I can imagine why this was your last time in Greece. Not the best memories. I enjoyed your journaling, documentation of something best not remembered. But you do have a great overlook from your hotel room.
@mcurtt - well it did give me a unique experience being in a foreign country with hardly anyone in the hospital speaking English, it was an opportunity to live among the locals, so to speak. And the sun was out and I was able to sit on the balcony with a great view for a day at the hotel before I had to attempt the hard journey home on crowded airplane and in crowded airports.
Wow this sounds absolutely horrific! It's never fun to suffer an injury, but to have that happen before a cruise and in a foreign country too is just the worst! But I love your outlook now that this is past you!
@Cristina - thanks for your kind comments. It was a unique experience. One of my friends says that I always have the most interesting experiences but she never wants to go with me as she's not interested in those kind of experiences!
What a frightening time that must have been! It's frightening enough here, but abroad - you must have been pretty upset. Glad you made it home on time.
