Journaling: Way back in 2003 when we bought our house there was a restaurant style booth built into the wall. It was hideous! It was maroon, with a wood edge and the back sides were wallpapered with maroon and floral stripes. Awful!!! SO, we removed the booth and where it met the wall, there were pieces of trim in between the pieces of the booth that stayed up. James said he would replace the trim along that whole wall after I finished painting. Then it never quite happened. Ha ha! Now that I painted all of the other trim white, it was a much easier job to match the trim, so now after almost 17 years, I FINALLY have all the trim up in my kitchen. Ha ha ha! We’ve had lots of fun joking about that and James keeps reminding me “Rome wasn’t built in a day!”
