Love this...Parrothead over here since 1985! He will be missed, but grateful for his wonderful legacy of music. Love how you incorporated all these fun tropical elements into your page!
this is so tropical and gorgeous and although i have heard vaguely of this guy, i haven't a clue about the parrothead reference y'all mentioned but i feel like i would approve
@bellbird Ha ha! Parrotheads are just fans of Jimmy Buffett, like Swifties are fans of Taylor Swift. Not sure how it became parrotheads way way back, but he's always singing about sailing and living the life in the tropical islands etc, so I guess that's the reference to parrots. He does have some references about buying an bird and teaching it to swear or something like that. Lol.
@Karen DD told me Swiftie was officially added to the dictionary last year, so i googled Parrothead and it doesn't appear to be in the main dictionary but there's a musical documentary from 2017 about Parrot Heads and an Aussie Parrot heads facebook group with 768 members (maybe he was not so popular here or that generation here is just not on FB either way i don't feel like i'm missing out too much, i follow enough actual parrots on social media )
