oh wow Sheila.. how incredible that you went there and great that you are scrapping this with the 75th anniversary being yesterday. Beautiful photos.. What a wonderful tribute and rememberance. I love the little notebook that you did the journaling in. Beautiful.

@cfile It was wonderful and I spent most of yesterday working on it. Such a wonderful, sad, emotional experience. We were there on the 70th anniversary. The flag I had in one of the pics was from my father's coffin - fortunately not on D-Day, but packed away with salt stains and all from Normandy! Thank you...
