Charlie pulled out all the sausage from the freezer. Every last chub of natural, no-nitrates, no-MSG, deliciously-seasoned pork. The whole stash. Mama just noticed it and it’s already thawed out. She doesn’t know how long ago Charlie decided to cook; Two-year-olds aren’t very good at telling time. Was it this morning? Yesterday? Last week?! She’ll never know.
