Journaling: When we adopted Cricket back in November, we noticed a little bump on her back. I pointed it out during her check-up at the vet . Blood was taken and it looked abnormal, but nothing seemed to be changing at the moment so we decided to wait until after the holidays to give her some time to adjust to her new home and us. She went in yesterday and the vet found a BB pellet covered
in scar tissue. Good news, no worries about cancer... bad news, people out there hurt animals. Now, she gets to wear her cone for the next 10 days until her stitches come out. She’s a happy cat. Photo: 1.16.2015
Thank you for adopting Cricket and taking such good care of her! I hate that anyone would harm her but with people like you, I have hope in the world! The OOB looks fantastic and that bold chevron is perfect
This made me burst into tears...oh hug that precious Cricket...the cone is part of her sweetness...I am betting you won't ever be able to out love this precious kitten!
