The white on white is perfect for skiing pix... way to scrap it!

haha, I still can't figure out how to bend my shadows on thin things, like your snowflake. My underlying shape that I'm distorting always peaks through and shows.
Or do I need to focus more on the lightening/shading added to the top layer. Perhaps that's what I'd need to do to try to trick the eye...

@vanessasmed I use masks so that the further away shadows are more blurred. It's a bit of a process!
